These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Woven Earth website, including your purchase of products through the website.
By accessing, browsing, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.
These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any consumer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
1. ABOUT WOVEN EARTH
Woven Earth is a contemporary handcrafted home décor brand offering products made using natural materials and traditional craft techniques, including bamboo, rattan cane, kauna grass, and other materials specified on individual product pages.
The website is operated by or on behalf of Woven Earth as an LLP.
No legal entity name or registered address is stated here at this time. Where specific legal or business details are required by applicable law, those requirements will apply notwithstanding anything stated in these Terms.

However, handmade and natural-material products have inherent variations.
Individual pieces may differ subtly in colour, texture, tone, weave, grain, shape, finish, pattern, or other visual characteristics.
Such differences are a natural consequence of the materials and handcrafted production process and are not necessarily defects.
Product photographs may also appear different depending on lighting, screen settings, device displays, photography conditions, and other factors.
Where exact dimensions, materials, care instructions, or other product-specific information are provided on an individual product page, that information should be read together with these Terms.
4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Products displayed on the website are subject to availability.
We may limit quantities, discontinue products, modify products, update product specifications, correct errors, change availability, or withdraw a product from sale at any time, subject to applicable law and any rights that have already arisen from an accepted order.
Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee that the item will remain available until checkout or payment is completed.
5. PRICES AND TAXES
Prices displayed on the website are stated in Indian Rupees unless otherwise indicated.
Woven Earth currently does not have GST registration. We do not state or represent that GST is being charged where it is not applicable.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing information is accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.
Where permitted by applicable law, if a material pricing or product-information error affects an order, we may contact you before fulfilling the order and provide an appropriate resolution.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed, except where correction is required because of an obvious error or where otherwise permitted by law.
6. PLACING AN ORDER
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms.
After placing an order, you may receive an order acknowledgement or confirmation.
An acknowledgement of receipt does not necessarily mean that Woven Earth has accepted the order.
An order may be accepted when we confirm that it has been accepted for fulfilment or otherwise communicate acceptance to you.
We reserve the right, to the extent permitted by law, to decline or cancel an order where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is a material pricing or product-information error;
- payment cannot be authorised or completed;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
- the order appears to have been placed in breach of these Terms;
- delivery cannot reasonably be completed to the provided address; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will arrange an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation.
7. ACCURACY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during checkout or account creation is accurate and complete, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing information, shipping address, and any other information necessary to fulfil your order.
We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. PAYMENT
Payments are processed through the payment and checkout services made available on the website.
By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
We do not ordinarily store complete payment-card details ourselves. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and security procedures.
An order may be cancelled or placed on hold where payment is declined, reversed, disputed, suspected to be fraudulent, or otherwise cannot be successfully processed.
9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Woven Earth currently ships across India to serviceable locations.
Shipping and estimated delivery information may be displayed on individual product pages, during checkout, or through order communications.
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, destination, courier or logistics provider, weather, transport conditions, public holidays, remote-location servicing, unforeseen operational circumstances, and other factors outside our reasonable control.
Any delivery timeframe communicated by us is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, subject to your rights under applicable law.
10. DELIVERY ADDRESS AND RECEIPT OF PRODUCTS
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and for making reasonable arrangements to receive the order.
Where a delivery attempt fails because of an incorrect address, refusal to accept delivery, unavailability of the recipient, or another circumstance attributable to the customer, additional delivery or reshipment arrangements may be required.
Where a package is delivered, customers should inspect the external packaging and product as soon as reasonably practicable.
11. TRANSIT DAMAGE
We take reasonable care to inspect and securely package products before dispatch.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly and provide the information required under our Shipping & Returns policy.
For transit-damage claims, we may request clear photographs of the damaged product, photographs of the outer packaging, photographs of internal packaging, a complete unboxing video, order details, and shipping or delivery information.
Where reasonably possible, retain the product and packaging until the matter has been reviewed.
We may investigate the circumstances of the damage and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or another suitable remedy, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
12. INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If you receive an incorrect product or believe that a product has a genuine manufacturing defect or significant structural issue, please contact us promptly.
We may request photographs, video, order information, and other relevant details so that we can assess the issue.
Where a product is confirmed to have a defect, manufacturing issue, or fulfilment error, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and our applicable returns policy.
Minor variations arising from natural materials or handmade production do not by themselves constitute defects.
13. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Because Woven Earth products are handcrafted and may be made using natural materials, returns and exchanges are subject to the conditions stated in our applicable Shipping & Returns / Returns Policy.
Woven Earth does not generally accept returns solely because a customer has changed their mind or no longer wants a product.
This restriction does not affect any statutory or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including rights that may arise in relation to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise non-conforming products.
Where a return or exchange is approved, we may specify the applicable procedure, timeframe, packaging requirements, and other conditions.
Products returned without prior approval or outside applicable requirements may not be accepted, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
14. CUSTOM OR PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
Where Woven Earth offers a product that is specifically customised, personalised, made to a customer's specifications, or otherwise produced specifically for an individual order, additional terms may apply.
Such products may have different cancellation, return, exchange, or refund conditions, subject always to applicable law.
Any product-specific terms communicated before purchase will form part of the applicable agreement.
15. ORDER CANCELLATION
Requests to cancel an order should be made as soon as possible by contacting thewovenearth@gmail.com.
Cancellation may not be possible once an order has entered processing, production, packing, dispatch, or another fulfilment stage.
Where cancellation is permitted, any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with the payment method, applicable policy, and applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits a statutory cancellation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. PROMOTIONS AND EARLY-BIRD OPPORTUNITIES
From time to time, Woven Earth may offer promotions, early access, early-bird opportunities, special releases, or other benefits.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- promotions are subject to their stated terms;
- eligibility may vary;
- promotional benefits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash;
- multiple offers may not necessarily be combined;
- we may impose reasonable limits on promotional availability; and
- promotional offers may be withdrawn or modified where permitted by law.
Specific promotional terms communicated with an offer will take precedence over these general provisions to the extent of any inconsistency.
17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Woven Earth website, including logos, brand names, photographs, product imagery, videos, graphics, illustrations, written content, Journal content, page designs, layouts, icons, product descriptions, and other original materials is owned by or licensed to Woven Earth and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access and use website content for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with using the website and considering or purchasing our products.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Woven Earth content without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by applicable law.
The Woven Earth name, logo, branding, and other distinctive brand elements may not be used without our permission.
18. CUSTOMER CONTENT
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, testimonials, feedback, or other content to Woven Earth, you represent that you have the necessary rights to provide that content.
You grant Woven Earth a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and publish such content for legitimate business, marketing, promotional, and website-related purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We may remove or decline to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, infringing, inappropriate, or otherwise inconsistent with our website or brand standards.
We do not claim ownership of your underlying intellectual property merely because you submit content to us.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue portions of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, business operations, technical reasons, or other legitimate purposes.
Nothing in this section limits any legal rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for matters that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from fraud or other circumstances for which applicable law prohibits limitation.
23. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Woven Earth and its relevant personnel, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- your unlawful or unauthorised use of the website;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your infringement of another person's rights;
- information or content you knowingly provide unlawfully; or
- your misuse of our website or services.
This provision does not apply to the extent that a claim results from Woven Earth's own unlawful conduct or from circumstances where applicable law does not permit such indemnification.
24. FORCE MAJEURE
Woven Earth will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where the delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, where applicable, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, strikes or labour disruptions, transportation disruptions, telecommunications or internet failures, supplier disruptions, courier or logistics failures, power outages, cyber incidents affecting relevant infrastructure, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where such circumstances occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimise their impact and resume performance when reasonably possible.
Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

26. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to an account or website functionality where reasonably necessary because of a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, unlawful activity, security concerns, or other legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Termination or suspension does not affect rights or obligations that arose before the termination.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory jurisdictional rights, the courts at Guwahati, Assam shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the website.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising a right to approach a court, consumer commission, regulator, or other authority where such right is available under applicable law.
Nothing in this section is intended to deprive a consumer of any mandatory jurisdiction, remedy, or protection available under applicable law.
28. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products or services, website functionality, business practices, applicable law, regulatory requirements, or other operational circumstances.
The updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued or otherwise override mandatory legal protections.
29. SEVERABILITY
